1. Indications HYDREA (hydroxyurea) is indicated for: • concomitant use with irradiation therapy in the treatment of primary squamous cell (epidermoid) carcinomas of the head and neck, excluding the lip. Tumor responses to HYDREA have been reported in resistant chronic myelocytic leukemia. 1.1. Pediatrics Pediatrics (< 18 years of age): No data are available to Health Canada; therefore, Health Canada has not authorized an indication for pediatric use. 1.2.
