INDICATIONS AND CLINICAL USE ALCON ATROPINE (atropine sulfate ophthalmic solution, BP) is a cycloplegic and mydriatic agent indicated for uveitis and refraction. Geriatrics (> 65 years of age): Elderly patients may be at a higher risk for undiagnosed glaucoma as well as atropine-induced psychotic reactions and behavioural disturbances.
