Nebulizer therapy will be reimbursed for patients who are unable to use a metered dose inhaler, including an inhaler with a spacer attachment, or a turbuhaler. 1 INDICATIONS AA-IPRAVENT (ipratropium bromide inhalation solution) is indicated for: • the treatment of bronchospasm associated with acute exacerbations of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), including chronic bronchitis and emphysema. • the treatment of bronchospasm associated with acute severe exacerbations of bronchial asthma when used in conjunction with a beta2 adrenergic agonist such as salbutamol.
