1 Indications YASMIN (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol tablet) is indicated for: • Conception Control • Treatment of moderate acne vulgaris in women ≥16 years of age who have no known contraindications to oral contraceptive therapy, desire contraception, and have achieved menarche 1.1 Pediatrics Pediatrics (˂16 years of age): The safety and efficacy of YASMIN has not been established in women under the age of 16 years. Use of this product before menarche is not indicated (see 7.1.3 Pediatrics). 1.2 Geriatrics Geriatrics: YASMIN is not indicated for use in postmenopausal women.
