When remedial measures alone are insufficient, the decision to prescribe drug treatment medication will depend upon the healthcare professional’s assessment of the chronicity and severity of the patient’s symptoms. Long-Term Use The effectiveness of Methylphenidate Hydrochloride Tablets for long-term use, i.e. for more than 4 weeks has not been systematically evaluated in placebo-controlled trials.
