What the Health Canada label says it is for
1. Indications NEUPRO (rotigotine) is indicated in adults (≥18 year of age) for: • The treatment of the signs and symptoms of idiopathic Parkinson’s disease. NEUPRO may be used both as early therapy, without concomitant levodopa, and as an adjunct to levodopa. • The symptomatic treatment of moderate to severe idiopathic Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS) 1.1. Pediatrics The safety and efficacy of NEUPRO have not been studied in children less than 18 years of age, therefore NEUPRO is not recommended in this patient population (see 7 Warnings and Precautions, Special Populations, Pediatrics). 1.2. Geriatrics Patients above the age of 65 were included in the clinical trials for NEUPRO.
