1 INDICATIONS
Toviaz (fesoterodine fumarate) is indicated for:
• The treatment of patients with overactive bladder with symptoms of urinary frequency, urgency, or
urge incontinence or any combination of these symptoms.
1.1 Pediatrics
Pediatrics (< 18 years of age): Based on the data submitted and reviewed by Health Canada, the safety
and efficacy of Toviaz in pediatric patients has not been established; therefore, Health Canada has not

1.2 Geriatrics
Geriatrics (≥ 65 years of age): Based on clinical studies, no apparent overall differences were observed in
safety between older (patients ≥ 65 years) and younger patients (patients < 65 years) on fesoterodine
extended-release tablets. Therefore, dosage adjustment for geriatric patients may not be required. See
