INDICATIONS ONE-ALPHA (alfacalcidol; capsules, oral drops, injection) is indicated in adult patients with chronic renal failure for: • Management of hypocalcemia • Secondary hyperparathyroidism • Osteodystrophy Pediatrics Pediatrics (< 18 years): Based on the data submitted and reviewed by Health Canada, the safety and efficacy of ONE-ALPHA in pediatric patients have not been established; therefore, Health Canada has not authorized an indication for pediatric use (see 7.1.3 Pediatrics).
