INDICATIONS AND CLINICAL USE  Allergic Rhinitis: RUPALL (rupatadine) is indicated for the symptomatic relief of nasal and non-nasal symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis (SAR) and perennial allergic rhinitis (PAR) in patients 2 years of age and older.  Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria: RUPALL (rupatadine) is indicated for the relief of the symptoms associated with chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU), e.g. pruritus and hives, in patients 2 years of age and older. Geriatrics (> 65 years of age): There is limited information on the use of RUPALL in subjects over 65 years of age. Although no overall differences in effectiveness or safety were observed in clinical trials, higher sensitivity of some older individuals cannot be excluded. Pediatrics (2-11 years of age): RUPALL 10 mg tablets are not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age. In these children, oral solution (1 mg/mL) should be used (see DOSING AND ADMINISTRATION). Pediatrics (<2 years of age): RUPALL has not been studied in children <2 years of age. Note: Requests for cancer drugs are considered under the Case-by-Case Review Program (CBCRP) which is administered by Ontario Health (Cancer Care Ontario) on behalf of the Ministry of Health. The CBCRP considers funding requests for drugs (both oral therapies and injectable drugs) for the treatment of cancer in patients who have a rare clinical circumstance that is immediately life-threatening (death is likely within a matter of months) and who require treatment with an unfunded drug, because there is no other satisfactory and funded treatment.
