INDICATIONS AND CLINICAL USE Sandoz Silodosin (silodosin) is indicated for:  The treatment of the signs and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Geriatrics (≥ 65 years of age): Silodosin has been found to be safe and effective when administered at therapeutic doses (8 mg once daily) to patients over the age of 65 years (see CLINICAL TRIALS section). Pediatrics (< 18 years of age): The safety and effectiveness of silodosin in pediatric patients have not been established. The CBCRP considers funding requests for drugs (both oral therapies and injectable drugs) for the treatment of cancer in patients who have a rare clinical circumstance that is immediately life-threatening (death is likely within a matter of months) and who require treatment with an unfunded drug, because there is no other satisfactory and funded treatment.
