1 Indications TRELSTAR (triptorelin for injectable suspension) is indicated for: • The management and relief of chronic pain associated with endometriosis. • The palliative treatment of hormone dependent advanced carcinoma of the prostate gland (stage D2). For the management and relief of chronic pain in endometriosis, experience in women has been limited to women 18 years of age or older treated for 6 months. 1.1 Pediatrics Pediatrics (< 18 years of age): No data are available to Health Canada; therefore, Health Canada has not authorized an indication for pediatric use (see 7.1.3 Pediatrics). 1.2 Geriatrics Geriatrics (≥ 65 years of age): No data are available to Health Canada for the management and relief of chronic pain associated with endometriosis in geriatric patients.
