Indications PERPHENAZINE (perphenazine tablets) is indicated for: • Management of manifestations of psychotic disorders. • Controlling nausea and vomiting due to stimulation of the chemoreceptor trigger zone. PERPHENAZINE has not been shown effective for the management of behavioral complications in patients with intellectual developmental disorder. 1.1. Pediatrics Pediatrics (<13 years of age): No data are available to Health Canada regarding use in children under 13 years of age; therefore, Health Canada has not authorized an indication for pediatric use in children under 13 years of age. Geriatrics Geriatrics (>55 years of age): Evidence from clinical studies and experience suggests that use in the geriatric population is associated with differences in safety or effectiveness.
