1 INDICATIONS MINT-ITRACONAZOLE (itraconazole) capsules are indicated for: • the treatment of the following systemic fungal infections in normal, predisposed or immunocompromised patients: 1. Invasive and non-invasive pulmonary aspergillosis. 2. Oral and/or esophageal candidiasis. 3. Chronic pulmonary histoplasmosis. 4. Cutaneous and lymphatic sporotrichosis. 5. Paracoccidioidomycosis. 6. Chromoblastomycosis.(formerly chromomycosis) 7. Blastomycosis. The type of organism responsible for the infection should be isolated and identified and other relevant laboratory studies (wet mount, histopathology, serology) should be undertaken as appropriate to confirm diagnosis.
