1. Indications COVERSYL® PLUS LD (perindopril erbumine / indapamide) is indicated for the initial treatment of mild to moderate essential hypertension. COVERSYL® PLUS and COVERSYL® PLUS HD (perindopril erbumine / indapamide) are indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate essential hypertension in patients for whom combination therapy is appropriate. COVERSYL® PLUS and COVERSYL® PLUS HD are not indicated for initial therapy. Patients in whom perindopril and indapamide are initiated simultaneously can develop symptomatic hypotension (see 9 Drug Interactions– Drug-Drug Interactions - Concomitant ACE Inhibitor and Diuretic Therapy). Patients should be titrated on the individual drugs. If the fixed combination represents the dosage determined by this titration, the use of COVERSYL® PLUS or COVERSYL® PLUS HD may prove to be more convenient in the management of patients.
