1 INDICATIONS TEVA-ABACAVIR/LAMIVUDINE (abacavir /lamivudine) is indicated in antiretroviral combination therapy for the treatment of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) infection in adults. 1.1 Pediatrics (< 18 years of age) TEVA-ABACAVIR/LAMIVUDINE is not indicated in antiretroviral combination therapy for the treatment of HIV infection in patients < 18 years of age. 1.2 Geriatrics (≥ 65 years of age) Clinical studies of abacavir sulfate/lamivudine tablets did not include sufficient numbers of patients aged 65 and older to determine whether they respond differently from younger patients.
