1 INDICATIONS Sandoz Tamsulosin (tamsulosin hydrochloride sustained release capsules) is indicated for: • The treatment of Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms (LUTS) associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) 1.1 Pediatrics (<16 years of age) Sandoz Tamsulosin is not indicated for use in children. The effectiveness of tamsulosin in 161 pediatric patients (ages 2-16 years) with neuropathic bladder was not demonstrated (see 7.1.3 Pediatrics).
