1 INDICATIONS SUBOXONE® (buprenorphine and naloxone) is indicated for: • substitution treatment in adults with problematic opioid drug dependence. 1.1 Pediatrics Pediatrics (<18 years of age): Based on the data submitted and reviewed by Health Canada, the safety and efficacy of SUBOXONE in pediatric patients has not been established; therefore, Health Canada has not authorized an indication for pediatric use. 1.2 Geriatrics Geriatrics (> 65 years of age): The safety and efficacy of SUBOXONE have not been established in adults over 65 years of age.
