What the Health Canada label says it is for
1 INDICATIONS ATACAND PLUS (candesartan cilexetil/hydrochlorothiazide) is indicated for: • the treatment of essential hypertension in patients for whom combination therapy is appropriate. ATACAND PLUS is not indicated for initial therapy (see 4 DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION). The dosage of ATACAND PLUS must be individualized.
