What the Health Canada label says it is for
INDICATIONS AND CLINICAL USE COMPLERA® (emtricitabine [FTC]/rilpivirine [RPV]/tenofovir disoproxil fumarate [TDF]) is indicated for use as a complete regimen for the treatment of adults infected with HIV-1 with no known mutations associated with resistance to the non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI) class, tenofovir or FTC, and with a viral load less than or equal to 100,000 copies/mL. The safety and efficacy of COMPLERA has not been established in patients with a prior history of virologic failure.
