What the Health Canada label says it is for
INDICATIONS AND CLINICAL USE ACTIKERALL (fluorouracil and salicylic acid) is indicated for the topical treatment of slightly palpable and/or moderately thick hyperkeratotic actinic keratosis (Grade I/II) of the face, forehead, and balding scalp in immunocompetent adult patients. Grade I/II intensity is based on the 4-point scale of Olsen et al (see CLINICAL TRIALS). Geriatrics (≥ 65 years of age): The clinical trials were mainly performed in patients 65 years and older. Due to the small number of patients <65 years in the clinical trials subgroup analysis of efficacy and safety by age (>65 vs <65 years) has not been conducted (see WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS). Pediatrics (< 18 years of age): The safety and efficacy of ACTIKERALL has not been established in the pediatric population. https://pdf.hres.ca/dpd_pm/00032488.PDF PM date: not printed or not captured Source product: ACTIKERALL; DIN 02428946; fetched 2026-09-10 Product monograph posted by Health Canada; excerpt for lookup only.
