INDICATIONS AND CLINICAL USE TEVA–CEFADROXIL (cefadroxil) is indicated for the treatment of the following infections when caused by susceptible strains of the organisms indicated: • Acute uncomplicated urinary tract infections when caused by E.coli, Klebsiella species and some strains of Proteus mirabilis. • Skin and skin structure infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus and/or Group A ß– hemolytic streptococci. • Acute pharyngitis–tonsillitis, when caused by Group A ß–hemolytic streptococci.
