What the Health Canada label says it is for

1 INDICATIONS DILANTIN (extended phenytoin sodium capsules) are indicated for:  the control of generalized tonic-clonic and psychomotor (grand mal and temporal lobe) seizures; and  the prevention and treatment of seizures occurring during or following neurosurgery.
