1. Indications PRIMIDONE (primidone tablets) is indicated for use alone or in combination with other anticonvulsants for the control of grand mal and psychomotor seizure in patients 8 years of age and older. 1.1. Pediatric Pediatrics (< 8 years of age): Based on the data submitted and reviewed by Health Canada, the safety and efficacy of PRIMIDONE in pediatric patients has not been established; therefore, Health Canada has not authorized an indication for pediatric use. Pediatrics (8 to 18 years of age): See 4.2. Recommended Dose and Dosage Adjustment and 7.1.3. Pediatrics. 1.2.
